The three ranges, one a rugged over-moulded surface mount package, the others in axial through hole format (moulded or sleeved), are targeted to frequencies between 100KHz and 150KHz. The potential applications are almost infinite, and include warehousing, animal tagging, asset tagging, production line work flow etc..

Wearnes Cambion have also invested heavily in manufacturing capability of reader coils, the other half of the RFID equation. These are invariably custom, but typically range in size from 10mm diameter to 200mm square.
